In their words

I realized how long I had been erasing myself to meet the expectations of others — people who only accepted me if I kept myself small and invisible. This song is a reaction to that. It’s the moment I stopped apologizing for existing. It’s full of wonder, frustration, and the raw force of reconnecting with your own power — as part of nature and the universe.

I accept this hurt no longer I’ll take what is left of me I’ve had enough of this struggle It’s nothing like you promised me Would you please suffer in silence Would you agree and follow Would you accept showing less and less of who you are Would you agree to unfairness Would you accept his harsh words Would you agree to listen and be who they want you to be I will leave here As I couldn’t believe in the mess that I am Because of you I will not care if you devour my colours now that I am in the rhythm of the sun I can’t control your denial Again, you demand that I change I’ve had enough of these hurdles silently forced upon me Would you please let go of freedom Would you agree to be small Would you accept being silenced, if all ends in hurt Would you agree to be hollow Would you accept being thin Would you agree to listen While there’s nothing left of me I will leave here As I couldn’t believe in the mess that I am Because of you I will not care if you devour my colours now that I am in the rhythm of the sun Run forward now I’ll let my core run wild. I will leave here As I couldn’t believe in the mess that I am Because of you I will not care if you devour my colours now that I am in the rhythm of the sun In the rhythm of the sun In the rhythm of the sun
