SOLARCYCLES PARTS WAYS WITH FRANK (KEYS) & SILVANA (VIOLIN) Today we share with you the unfortunate news of Frank and Silvana leaving Solarcycles after 11 years of being this 5 member band. We part ways as friends with a bunch of amazing shared memories. We will still play ONE LAST SHOW WITH THEM on sept 26 in Cpunt Hoofddorp. Be there to experience the original full LUNAR line-up for the very last time. This is also the venue where we played our first public show, making it extra special. We completely understand this news comes unexpected. Over the last months our visions of the future of Solarcycles grew apart and as much as we tried to adjust and see if we could still make it work, it became clear that our visions for the future are no longer fully aligned. After many hours thinking and friendly conversations we realised that our ambitions, priorities and motivation were too far apart now and eventually Frank and Silvana choose to leave the band. You can read their statement at the bottom of this post. Most importantly, we would like to sincerely thank Frank and Silvana for everything they have contributed to Solarcycles over the past 11 years. They have been part of countless shows, recordings, releases, adventures and memories. We are grateful for all of it, and we wish them nothing but happiness and success in whatever comes next. For the time being, Solarcycles returns to its original lineup that it all started with: Sascha, Iwan and Ralf. We will carefully take our time to find the right musician(s) to join us moving forward. Until then, Solarcycles will continue as a three-piece band. For our fans, we would also like to reassure you that the core songwriting, production and creative vision behind Solarcycles remain unchanged. Neither will this affect the production and timeline of our upcoming album. Work on the album continues as planned, and our focus remains on delivering the strongest Solarcycles record we have ever made. We can’t wait to share what comes next! We part ways with gratitude, friendship and respect, and we remain proud of everything we accomplished together over the last 11 years. Ironically, did you know 1 solar cycle lasts 11 years? It's the natural rhythm of the sun, and apparently nature now decided it's time for a new cycle of Solarcycles. COINCIDENCE OR NOT? Thank you for your continued support. — Solarcycles (Iwan, Sascha and Ralf) STATEMENT FRANK & SILVANA: Dear Solarcycles Fans, Friends and Family, What an incredible journey it has been! From rehearsing in an attic and playing on stages barely large enough for the five of us, to performing for audiences that could be counted on two hands, we never imagined where this adventure would take us. Together, we grew into a band that had the privilege of playing packed club shows, supporting Blackbriar, and performing at Castlefest in front of more than 6,000 people. None of this would have been possible without your support, enthusiasm, and belief in us. For that, we will always be grateful. Today, however, we have some difficult news to share. After much thought and many heartfelt conversations, we, Silvana (violin) and Frank (keys), have made the difficult decision to leave Solarcycles. The band has an exciting future ahead, and we truly believe in the path that lies before them. While we fully respect the band's direction, we have come to realize that our own journey must take a different course. This decision has not been easy. We are deeply saddened, and our hearts are truly broken to say goodbye to something that has been such an important part of our lives. We look back with immense pride, gratitude, and joy for everything we have achieved together. The memories we have created, the friendships we have built, and the moments we have shared with all of you will stay with us forever. Thank you for your love, your support, and for being part of this beautiful chapter. Our final performance with Solarcycles will be on 26 September at C-punt in Hoofddorp.
